Who we work with

Tierra works with digitally savvy DTC e-commerce brands, typically spending $100K+ per month on paid ads, who are seeking to optimize performance and achieve greater scale. Our ideal clients have proven product-market fit and the infrastructure and desire to grow aggressively.

The 10 Commandments — client standards

Tierra only works with clients that:

  1. Pay retainer upfront, pay on time, and pay their own media costs
  2. Understand their business model, margins, and key metrics
  3. Have the desire and potential to grow in partnership with Tierra
  4. Accept reasonable expectations for performance and growth
  5. Are willing to trust Tierra's marketing expertise
  6. Treat us kindly and professionally, and are enjoyable to work with
  7. Won't have significant tracking or attribution issues
  8. Won't cause significant ad platform policy issues or violations
  9. Do no harm to people, animals, or the planet
  10. Sell high quality products — a good product is the best marketing

Engagement model

Every engagement begins with a Performance Marketing Brief (PMB) — a comprehensive strategic deep-dive into the client's brand, customers, and competitive landscape. The PMB demonstrates Tierra's ability to deeply understand a client's identity, value propositions, and audience within the first week or two. It's shared with the client and refined based on their feedback to align both teams.

Communication

  • Primary channel: Slack
  • Business hours: 9am–5pm PST
  • Response time: same-day on Slack, within 24 hours at the latest
  • Primary point of contact: the client's Account Manager

All client communication flows through the AM to keep everyone aligned.
