Tierra's Guide for Getting Support with Facebook Account Issues

For issues with personal Facebook accounts, Business Pages, Meta Business Manager, or Ad Accounts — especially hacked accounts, disabled accounts, or 2FA lockouts.

Tierra's role

Tierra can only contact Facebook support on a client's behalf if we directly manage their account. If we don't have administrative access or ongoing management responsibility, Facebook requires the account owner to contact their support team directly.

Main ways to get help with Facebook issues

1. Use Meta's Help Center & Chat Support

Visit the Meta Business Help Center.

  • Scroll to the issue that matches your problem ("Hacked Account," "Disabled Ad Account," "Account Security," etc.)
  • Click the appropriate article
  • Look for a "Contact Support" or "Chat with a representative" option at the bottom of the article

Be logged into the right account

The chat feature only shows up if you have an active Business Manager or Ad Account, and you're logged into it. Be logged into the correct Business Manager that you want support for.

2. Recover a hacked personal or business account

  • Personal account hacked: facebook.com/hacked
  • Business page hacked: start with personal account recovery first — most business pages are attached to personal profiles
  • Lost access to Business Manager or Pages: fill out this form

3. Disabled or restricted ad account

Check Account Quality — this dashboard shows violations and links to appeal decisions.

4. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) issues

Can't log in due to 2FA? Follow this article.

If locked out completely, click the "Need more help?" option after failed login attempts to verify identity.

5. Facebook Community Forums & other resources

When all else fails, the Facebook Help Community is another place to find solutions.

6. Facebook phone support?

No phone support exists

Facebook does not offer a public phone support number for account-related issues. All support is handled through the Help Center and Messenger chat. Be cautious of any site or person claiming they can resolve issues for a fee — they're often scams.

7. Reporting stolen pages or ad accounts

If someone took control of a page or account, use the stolen page support link or fill out the most relevant form at the Help Center.

Tierra's role as your agency

If Tierra directly manages a client's Ad Account, Business Manager, or Page:

  • ✅ We can escalate issues for them
  • ✅ Simply let your Tierra account manager know
  • ❌ If we do not manage their account or page, they must go through the self-service options above
