Slack Canvases
Canvases are a Slack feature that creates a new tab in a channel — a board for lists, checklists, tables, and other persistent info. Tierra uses canvases in three specific patterns.
Internal Client Channels — Client Details
Every internal client channel has a Client Details canvas with key info for the Tierra team to reference anytime.
Owner: The client's assigned Project Manager — responsible for keeping the canvas up to date.
Naming convention: [CLIENT] Client Details
Length rule
Name should not get cut off on a desktop screen. If it does, use a shorter version of the client's name.
