#creative-strategy Catch-all for creative content not covered elsewhere — strategy insights, process questions, QA requests
#web-designs Same as #ad-sharing but for landing pages

Tierra Internal — Marketing

Channel Purpose
#biz-dev Sales team updates and information about potential new clients
#client-audits When new audits are expected, when they're due, audit decks shared, confirmation on team assignment
#client-testimonials Positive client feedback. We love hearing it, and we use these in sales pitches and on the website.

External Client Channels

Naming convention: #[client]-tierra

Use these channels to send updates to the client and discuss things with the client team externally. Be mindful of what you send — anyone on the client's team can read it. Use How To Speak To Clients for guidance.

Inviting clients to the channel

  • Paid Slack workspace: add via Slack Connect, which shares the channel between both workspaces. Multiple channels can be shared this way.
  • No paid Slack workspace: add as single-channel guests in our workspace. Must be invited by a Slack admin (Brennan or Alex). Cannot be on multiple channels.

Internal Client Channels

Naming convention: #internal-[client]

Use these for client discussions with the Tierra team internally — not visible to the client.

No DMs for client work

Do NOT send DMs with any client questions or updates. Use the internal client channel so the team stays aware and engaged.

Notable exceptions: sharing sensitive information, discussing concerns about specific team members.

Organize Slack with sections

Slack sections keep internal vs external client channels visually distinct. See Slack Tips & Tricks doc for setup.

Key Vendor Channels

Channel Vendor
#hitsindia-tierra Akshay (HitsIndia) — key design vendor for landing pages
#syntaxdrips-tierra Adam Alvarado (SyntaxDrips) — key web development vendor
#[copywriter]-tierra Multiple copywriter channels following this convention

Fun / Social Channels
