Project Manager

What is a Project Manager?

Project Managers (PMs) support the Tierra team — especially Account Managers (AMs) — by keeping operations smooth and efficient. They prep key documents, schedule meetings, facilitate organization, assign tasks in Monday.com, and support new client onboarding.

Important PM skills:

  • Organization — PMs follow strict guidelines to ensure Tierra assets (Google Drive, Slack channels, documents) are organized, consistent, and free of errors or omissions
  • Proactivity — monitor communication channels to stay ahead of task management. Use sensible judgment to anticipate team needs.
  • Efficiency — identify ways to streamline repetitive tasks, optimizing workflows to maximize bandwidth

Key Responsibilities

Prepare meeting notes

For all meetings under their pod:

  • Client Performance Updates
  • Internal Pod Meetings

Most meeting notes prepared on Fridays:

  • Copy / paste templates
  • Update titles & dates
  • Post in the appropriate Slack channel & tag relevant parties

Ahead of individual calls:

  • Add in all relevant updates based on client meetings, notes, Slack messages, emails, Monday.com
  • Send reminders to key contributors to ensure notes are complete

Update document templates as needed.

Manage tasks

Add action items as tasks in Monday.com:

  • Regularly monitor communications for new action items. Tasks pulled from:
    • Meetings
    • Slack messages / emails
  • All tasks must include:
    • What the task is (short title + detailed description)
    • Who's responsible
    • When it's due

Follow up with task owners to make sure they get completed.

Support new client onboarding

Prepare assets for new clients:

  • Monday board
  • Slack canvas
  • Google Drive folders
  • Kickoff agenda
  • Vendor project briefs

Support the AM in any additional onboarding tasks.

Keep internal resources organized & up to date

  • Google Drive folders & documents
  • Notes and other document templates
  • Internal & client Slack canvases
  • Client Monday boards

Additional project management tasks

  • Upload & organize client creative assets
  • Prepare MarkUp links for CRO, page design, and copy review
  • Update client performance sheets using metrics from Google Ads, Meta, client CRMs
  • Update project tracking sheets
  • Support preparation of client dashboards on Triple Whale, HubSpot, Google Data Studio
  • Support preparation of pitch decks for new potential clients
  • Conduct competitor research
  • Other one-off or recurring tasks (training included as needed)

Complete your assigned tasks

  • Complete all assigned Monday.com tasks by their due dates
  • Prioritize tasks that directly impact client performance or deliverables
  • Anticipate upcoming tasks and prepare in advance
  • Take ownership — communicate delays promptly
  • Review all aspects of a task before marking it complete
