Monday Recurring Task Automations

"Recurring Tasks" is a Monday board that creates new tasks each week — mostly for Growth Accelerator client Performance Updates. The automations need to be set up correctly so tasks are assigned to the right team member with the right due date.

How to add or update automations

  1. Get invited to the Recurring Tasks board (your Growth Strategist can help with this)
  2. Open automations by clicking the automations button at the top of the board
  3. Creating a new automation from scratch is possible, but it's usually easier to duplicate an existing automation from an existing client and edit it
  4. Click an automation to open the editor:
    • Change the schedule by clicking where it says "Every week…"
    • Change the task details by clicking "Then create an item"
  5. When automations are no longer relevant (client offboarded, ad platform discontinued, etc.), disable them, don't delete them. Keeps the audit trail clean.

Name [CLIENT] - Task — client name in all caps, surrounded by square brackets (e.g., [SADDLE ROCK])

GDrive Folder Link to the "Notes Templates" folder in the client's Google Drive

Automation description

The "Automation Description" field on the automation itself (not on the task) should match the Task Name exactly, plus include the team member role in parentheses.
